Addington House / Margate 2007-2023

Renovation of a late Grade II Listed Georgian house. This was the house that brought me and my partner to Margate. Over 14 years we restored the fabric, reversed inappropriate alterations and reinstated lost features. It was a long term project - planting trees and hedge was the first thing - the olive trees took 12 years to grow enough to give privacy to the house and are in integral part of the renovation.

The interior walls are decorated with custom made lime paint colours and the joinery is in linseed paint.

The front gate and piers complete the boundary treatment.
